Aggiorniamo il grafico precedentemente inserito, riducendo un po il time frame per farvi vedere meglio come appena andato in territorio negativo il nostro spread ha rimbalzato.

Ottimo segnale per allungare il nostro spread.

Updated the previous graph on coal vs brent. We reduce the time frame to focus on medium term.

Afetr two days in negative spread, our spread come back above 2.  Good signal to stay long on spread!

Oggi parliamo di spread trading attraverso due indici. Nel grafico sottostante si può vedere un importante spread storico tra coal e brent sul prodotto calendar. Potremo tornare agli anni 2009-2010 oppure è il momento buono per aprire in positivo lo spread?

Short on EUStock50/ Entrata short sull Eurostoxx II

Il segnale di entrata short ha dato i risultati previsti anche se tecnicamente lo stop sarebbe stato preso qualora inserito. Per chi come me lo ha messo mentalmente ed ha visto che la figura non ha chiuso sopra la media mobile allora sta in guadagno. Ora inseriamo lo stop loss all' entry level oppure passiamo per il take profit

The entry short signal is running very well even if the stop  loss should be got. The people like me that didn't put the stop because the closing 3rd of July was below the moving avarage are still gain. Now put the stop loss at entry level or go to take profit!

Short on EUStock50/ Entrata shot sull Eurostoxx

Delta Hedge per un giorno finale/ One Day Delta Hedge Final

Come previsto hanno esercitato tutte le call e noi abbiamo incassato 200 € ulteriori dovuti alla differenza dello strike 2.8 vs 3.  Inoltre ci troviamo corti 1000 azioni a prezzo 3 €. Possiamo tenerle se abbiamo una view ribassista o chiudere a 3.1 e toglierci il pensiero. Alla fine abbiamo incassato 100 € spendendo 0 €. Alla prossima

We get 200 € more due to different strike between 2.8 call buy and 3 call sell. Now we are short 1000 shares INTESA at 3 € price. We can decide to buy at 3.1 and loss 100 € or get the shares if we have a bearish  view. At the end we get 100 € of gain with a cash out of 0 €. At the next strategy and....

Delta hedge per un giorno III/ One day delta hedge III

Abbiamo preso la view giusta con le call ed oggi vediamo il primo rintracciamento. A questo punto per incrementare i nostri guadagni possiamo vendere una call OTM oppure ricomprarci le put a strike 2 € che ormai valgono zero.

Today first down on INTESA (see chart). We get the right view on call side. We can decide to increase our gain in two different way: sell call OTM (3.2 for example) or buy our put with strike at 2 € (value si more or less 5 €).
